The Intex 14-inch Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump and Saltwater System is designed for above ground pools with capacities between 2,600 and 8,500 gallons. It uses natural sand to filter water effectively, with a 6-function control valve enabling filtering, backwashing, rinsing, recirculating, draining, and closing the system. The built-in 24-hour timer automates filtration cycles, reducing daily maintenance. A saltwater system employs electrocatalytic oxidation to generate sodium hypochlorite for sanitation. Hydro Aeration Technology improves water circulation and clarity. The pump includes a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter for electrical safety. Sand replacement is required only every five years.
