About this product

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst is a children's picture book that follows a young boy's series of misfortunes on what he believes is his worst day ever. The story begins with Alexander waking up with gum in his hair after sleeping with it in his mouth, and continues with a string of small disasters: tripping over his skateboard, accidentally washing his sweater, and enduring lima beans for dinner. Despite everything going wrong, the narrative offers comfort through shared experience, suggesting that even others face similarly bad days.
