C6-A XLT 6 inch Optical Tube Assembly

A superior choice for astronomy enthusiasts, the C6-A, 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube Assembly is designed to seamlessly fit CG-5 Mounts. This high-quality, durable optical tube assembly is a part of Celestron's innovative range of telescopes, renowned for their advanced technology and sturdy construction. The C6-A features the multicoated Starbright XLT Coatings, a unique feature that sets it apart from ordinary 8" optical tube assemblies. These highly reflective coatings are meticulously applied on the mirrors, while anti-reflective coatings are employed on the correcting lens. This strategic use of coatings significantly enhances light transmission, allowing for a brighter and clearer image of celestial objects. Celestron's optical systems are designed with internal baffling to ensure the highest contrast levels, providing you with an unparalleled viewing experience. This advanced design element contributes to the C6-A's ability to bring the faintest objects your scope can resolve into greater detail. Regardless of their size or configuration, all Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain optical assemblies utilize the same superior optics, maintaining the company's commitment to consistently high performance and customer satisfaction. The StarBright XLT coatings dramatically decrease the total percentage of light loss incurred by the scope's system of lenses and mirrors by a measure of 43%. This reduction in light loss can have a particularly dramatic effect on the visibility of deep space objects. The C6-A, 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube Assembly is not just an addition to your astronomy equipment, but a gateway to exploring the wonders of the night sky with enhanced clarity and detail..
