The Cangshan Kuro Series 9-inch honing steel is a professional kitchen tool designed to maintain and sharpen knife edges. It features a half-grooved, half-smooth finish: the coarse side realigns the blade's microscopic teeth during regular maintenance, while the fine side polishes the edge for precision. For typical use, the grooved side is recommended weekly and the smooth side daily. Crafted with high-carbon X-7 Damascus steel and a G-10 fiberglass handle, it has a forged full tang construction and a limited lifetime warranty. Hand washing is required to preserve its quality.
