About this product

Max and the Tag-Along Moon by Floyd Cooper is a picture book for children aged 3 to 7, featuring lush illustrations and a gentle story about a grandson's bond with his grandfather. The narrative centers on a comforting promise: that the moon at Grandpa's house will follow Max all the way home. As Max rides in the car, he watches the moon appear and disappear behind clouds, sparking a quiet worry. The tale captures the magic children feel when the moon seems to follow them, reinforcing the idea that loved ones remain present even when apart. Illustrated by Coretta Scott King Award-winning artist Floyd Cooper, the book blends emotional warmth with visual wonder.
