The Messermeister Meridian Elite Kullenschliff Santoku Knife is a Japanese chef's knife crafted in Solingen, Germany, designed for precision slicing of vegetables, fish, and meat. Its thin taper and semi-circular hollows (kullens) on both sides of the blade reduce drag and adhesion during cutting. Forged from German 1.4116 steel with a 15-degree edge, it achieves a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The bolsterless heel allows full use of the blade, and the POM handle provides comfort and balance. Hand washing is recommended for care.
