The Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Table Lamp is a mid-century modern lighting fixture designed by Poul Henningsen, featuring a three-layer hand-blown opal glass shade that directs light downward for soft, glare-free illumination. Its design is based on Henningsen's patented three-shade system from 1925, which uses logarithmic spirals to evenly distribute light and minimize shadows. The lamp has a compact footprint with a brass or chrome-plated metal base and stem, and it uses a single 10-watt G16.5 bulb. Originally created for the Paris exhibition, this model is part of a series where each number indicates the shade size.
