About this product
The iFi SilentPower DC Blocker+ is a high-power IEC filter designed to eliminate transformer hum in audio systems by blocking unwanted DC voltage from reaching the amplifier. When small amounts of DC from the mains cause transformer saturation, they produce a persistent humming sound audible near the chassis. This device installs at the IEC power inlet and ensures zero DC pass-through, creating an optimal environment for clean, distortion-free audio performance. It supports voltages from 90 to 250 volts and handles up to 2200W or VA at 220V, or 1100W or VA at 110V.
