The Weakest Link is a PlayStation 1 video game developed by Activision, based on the popular television quiz show. It features over 100,000 questions and supports up to seven players in multiplayer mode. Players select from 24 distinct character avatars, each representing different ages and backgrounds, such as a 17-year-old high school student or a 66-year-old retired bank manager. The gameplay follows the TV show’s format, but instead of answering freely, players choose from four provided options. Game modes include single-player, multiplayer, and Championship mode, which consists of four shows culminating in a $50 million top prize. A password system allows players to resume progress mid-game, and various settings can be customized, including question category frequency.
