AHA 30% + BHA 2% High-Strength Peeling Solution for Brightening

What it is: The AHA 30% and BHA 2% Peeling Solution is an at-home exfoliating facial that combines the power of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHA).

Who it's for: Ideal for experienced facial exfoliator users looking to achieve smoother, clearer skin.

What it does: This peeling solution works to improve skin texture, reduce pore congestion and address uneven skin tone.

Key ingredients:
- Tasmanian pepperberry derivative: a known anti-irritant and further supported with hyaluronic acid, pro-vitamin B5 and black carrot

How to use: Use the solution once or twice a week, ideally in the evening, on thoroughly clean, dry skin. Do not use on wet, sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Apply evenly across the face and neck using fingertips. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Be sure to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product.
Note: Due to its high concentration of free acids, this solution should be used with caution, especially for those with sensitive skin. We recommend use only if you are an experienced user of acid exfoliation and your skin is not sensitive.

The pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid, the primary AHA used in the formula, has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa implies acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an optimal balance between salt and acidity.
