The Cangshan 9" bread knife features a full-tang, high-carbon X-7 Damascus steel blade with saw-like serrations designed to slice through bread, bagels, pastries, and tough-skinned fruits and vegetables without crushing the interior. The 9-inch blade provides ample length for cutting large items like squash and melons. It has a durable G-10 fiberglass octagonal handle and is housed in a deep blue wood magnetic sheath. The knife is hand-sharpened and forged from 67 layers of steel, with a Rockwell hardness rating of 60 +/- 2. It is intended for hand washing and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
