It features a durable, water-resistant construction with a 0.160" x 2" stainless steel stem secured by a heavy-duty clip, suitable for grills with a thermometer hole of 0.160" or larger. The device offers a wide temperature range from 32°F to 842°F (0°C to 450°C) and includes high and low temperature alerts to maintain consistent heat during grilling, roasting, or deep-frying. A backlit display ensures readability in any lighting condition, while a power-saving function and protective silicone cover enhance longevity. It operates on two AAA batteries, which are included, and can be easily recalibrated. The unit is hand washable and made primarily of plastic.
