The Metabones NF - GFX Expander 1.26x is a precision adapter that enables Nikon F mount lenses to be used on Fujifilm GFX medium-format camera bodies. It maintains the original field of view by matching the image circle of full-frame Nikon lenses to the GFX sensor, resulting in no crop or vignetting. The adapter features a 5-element optical design using high-index Lanthanum glass and fused silica for sharp imaging, particularly with professional f/2.8 zooms. When attached, a 24-70mm f/2.8 becomes a 30-88mm f/3.5 lens, preserving optical performance while slightly reducing aperture. It uses a brass body with chromium plating and a leaf-spring lens connection for durability and alignment stability. Electronic control of aperture is supported via Metabones' Smart Adapter technology.
