It features a 5-element/4-group optical design using high-index tantalum-based glass to minimize distortion, vignetting, and improve corner sharpness across the image frame. The adapter supports autofocus, image stabilization, and Video Digital IS on compatible camera bodies, and it is powered directly by the camera, eliminating the need for external power.
